Job Summary

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate proper china, glass and silver washing and sanitizing including the redistribution and storage of all clean wares.
  • Ensuring all ware washing equipment and culinary equipment in the kitchen is clean and in proper working condition.
  • Review daily cleaning schedules with stewarding team. To include kitchen areas, catering offices and employee restrooms.
  • Assisting in managing the kitchen recycling program; assisting the Executive Chef upon request with special projects and initiatives.
  • Supervision of Stewarding team, including safety training and adherence of all HAACP regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be able to speak English and Spanish.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook preferred.
  • Minimum of three years stewarding experience.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat, stretch and fulfill cleaning tasks.
